This poem is displayed on a sign that appears on the front doors of the wizarding bank, Gringotts, in Diagon Alley. An eleven-year-old Harry Potter is just about to go in with Hagrid, his half-giant friend, and withdraw some money inherited from his parents for his school supplies for Hogwarts, when he stops to read it.
